Looking back, our first date was… well, chaotic. Nothing about it was planned. We started with a long, chatty dinner at a random restaurant we stumbled into, then decided to walk—what we later discovered was 40 minutes—to a bar we’d casually mentioned in conversation (thinking it was much closer). After spending time there, we walked another 40 minutes back, only to head out again for a 40-minute ride to catch a late-night movie. Finally, we drove 40 minutes to drop Aries off at home. In the moment, though, time didn’t matter. We were too caught up in enjoying each other’s company to notice how ‘inefficient’ our night was. To us, everything flowed naturally from one moment to the next. When Inwoo drove the 40 minutes home afterward, he couldn’t stop smiling, making actual plans for the second date.

Engaged. Took long enough. 💍

Eloped on a random Thursday. Drove down to OC to have our friend Paul sign the papers. We had P.F. Chang's for dinner because it was the only thing open around Paul's at that time.

We adopted our first cat! Lucifer (better known to everyone as Felix).

We moved in together in Koreatown. No more long distance (Sawtelle vs. Koreatown).

Welcomed Hu Leo into our little family :)

Started planning our (first) wedding!

We might look a bit different in our first engagement photoshoot..

But our commitment is the same as ever.

Our wedding postponed due to COVID. No rush :)
